Russia, Ukraine and EU failed to agree on gas issues during a trilateral meeting in Warsaw.
Another two rounds of talks are expected in May, EU Energy Commissioner Günther Oettinger told reporters.
He said the two consecutive months could be dedicated to accumulation of gas for the winter months.
As reported earlier, the issue of gas supplies and transit was on the agenda of the trilateral meeting.
