World-renowned Turkish dissident Ragip Zarakolu slammed Turkish authorities for their Armenian Genocide denial policy duirng a book festival in Argentina.

According to Taraf newspaper, during the festival Zarakolu said Turkey continues denial poliocy. He recalled that Armenian intellectuals Ruben Sevak, Siamanto, Daniel Varuzhan and Grigor Zohrap, were marched to death on April 24, 1915, while Hrant Dink was killed in new Turkey.

He called  on Turkish authorities to release Sevan Nisanyan and Turkish intellectuals who are in jail.

Zarakolu said he was proud to publish the novel by Franz Werfel "The Forty Days of Musa Dagh" in Turkeyin 1997.
