YEREVAN. – The U.S. government disagrees with Azerbaijani Deputy FM Azimov’s assessment of Co-Chair James Warlick's actions, U.S. Embassy in Armenia answered to Armenian News-NEWS.am's inquiry.
“The United States Government disagrees with Deputy Foreign Minister Azimov’s assessment. The U.S. Government remains fully committed to this effort, and we call on both sides to take serious steps to peacefully resolve this conflict,” the Embassy said.
Several days Deputy Foreign Minister Azimov accused American diplomat of having ties to the Armenian community of U.S. and said Azerbaijani government may raise issue to recall James Warlick from post of OSCE Minsk Group co-chair.
