Belarus and Turkey will abolish visas for the citizens starting from June 1, 2014.
Minsk received notice of the Turkish side that the country has completed the internal procedures so that the agreement on mutual abolition of visas could be in force, Interfax-West reported quoting a source close to Belarus Migration Service.
It is likely that from the beginning of summer the citizens of Belarus and Turkey will travel to Turkey without visas.
Earlier it was reported that Belarus ratified Belarus-Turkey agreement on readmission and lifting visas in late 2013.
In accordance with the agreement, Belarusian citizens will be able to stay in Turkey without a visa for up to 30 days per trip.
