YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan issued a letter of condolence to Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai.
Sargsyan released the message in connection with the devastating landslide that hit Afghanistan, and which resulted in numerous deaths, informed the Press Office of the President.

In his letter, President Sargsyan extended his sincere sympathies to President Karzai and the friendly Afghan people, and also wished endurance and courage to the relatives and friends of the dead, and a speedy recovery to the injured.     

A massive landslide on May 2 buried more than 2,000 people in Badakhshan Province in Afghanistan.
