STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan on Monday visited the City of Hadrut and attended the official opening of a new stadium.

The President underscored this stadium’s role in the development sports in Hadrut region, and Artsakh, in general, highlighting the respective special attention paid by the state, and the constructions and modernizing of corresponding infrastructures in the NKR regions, informed the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.

Sahakyan expressed gratitude to Football Federation of Armenia President, philanthropist Ruben Hayrapetyan, for his practical support in the implementation of this project.

NKR National Assembly Speaker Ashot Ghulyan, Deputy Prime Minister Arthur Aghabekyan, several other officials, and numerous guests from Armenia and abroad also were on hand at the event.
