YEREVAN. – French President Francois Hollande said his country welcomes Armenia's European association following Vilnius summit.

Hollande believes that during the summit in Vilnius, Armenia showed its will and choice: the republic is determined to get closer to Europe. However, the president noted that one should not face a dilemma between EU and Customs Union.

“I would like to think about how Armenia can arrange association with the EU without interfering with your integration with the Customs Union. Obviously, Armenia, being associated with the region, wants to be a part of European political values​​. This is necessary, just as presence of European investments in Armenia, so that our agenda could be full of not only political but economic issues,” he said.
