YEREVAN. – On behalf of Armenia President Serzh Sargsyan, a state dinner was given, on Monday evening at the Presidential Palace, in honor of French President François Hollande, who has arrived in Armenia on a state visit.
According to the protocol, the presidents of the two countries made a mutual toast, and reflected on the Armenian-French centuries-old friendship, the historical linkages between the two friendly nations, the current high level of inter-state relations, and the prospects for their development.
World-renowned French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour, who gave a concert on the same day in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan, also attended the state dinner.
