YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan had a working breakfast with board members of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) of Armenia.  

The UITE Board members briefed the PM on the organization’s activities, and, subsequently, they discussed the prospects for the development of Armenia’s information technology (IT) sector, informed the Press Office of the Government of Armenia.  

Abrahamyan stressed that the development of the country’s IT sector will be a priority of the government, and that the Armenian state will continue its close cooperation with this sector.  

The parties came to an agreement that the IT sector representatives will submit to the government specific programs aimed at the IT development in Armenia.
