YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 414.04/$1 in Armenia on Thursday, which makes for an AMD 0.37 rise from Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 565.37 (down by AMD 2.02), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.93 (unchanged), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 693.68 (down by AMD 1.49), the Central Bank of Armenia press service informed.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 17,375.09, AMD 264.5, and AMD 19,601.47, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 1,400,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 414.41/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 414.25/$1.
