YEREVAN. –The National Seismic Protection Service of Armenia recorded a 2.6-magnitide earthquake, on Friday at 1:23am local time.
The epicenter of the tremor was nearby the Armenia-Nakhichevan border, 15 km northwest of Kajaran city.
The hypocenter of the seismic activity was 5 km beneath the surface, and it measured magnitude 3-4 at the epicenter.
The earthquake was felt in Armenia’s Kajaran and Kapan cities, where it measured magnitude 3.
