YEREVAN. – Figures of world famous football players were installed at Zvartnots airport ahead of 2014 World Cup in Brazil (photo).

The figures of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Samuel Eto'o , Neymar and others appeared at the airport during a ceremony attended by airport leadership and foreign diplomats.

The T-shirts of Brazil, Argentina, Russia and other squads has been raffled during the event attended by Ambassador of Brazil Edson Marinho Duarte Monteiro , representative of Argentina's embassy Adriana Trotta, director of Armenian International Airports CJSC Juan Pablo Gechidjian and company's general manager

The favorite player of Brazil's Ambassador is Pele and Neymar from the current squad, the diplomat told Armenian News-NEWS.am. Edson Marinho Duarte Monteirounderscored that Henrikh Mkhitaryan is the favorite of every Armenian, adding that he used to play in Brazil.

“For us he is a little bit Brazilian player, too,” he said.
