YEREVAN. – The European Union (EU) shows that it is still interested in forming new relations with Armenia. 

Armenia-based Regional Studies Center Director, political analyst Richard Giragosian told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

Giragosian explained that this is due to some vagueness in terms of Armenia’s Customs Union accession process.

In the analyst’s words, however, it is apparent that the EU needs to explore alternative methods for partnership with Armenia.

“The EU is exploring new ‘legal frameworks,’ which will comprise several points and serve as a basis for an ‘Action Plan +’ between Armenia and the EU,” Giragosian specifically noted.
