YEREVAN. – On May 31, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, the MFA central administration staff, and the heads of Armenia’s diplomatic missions arrived in Stepanakert, capital city of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh.

On the same day, NKR President Bako Sahakyan received Armenia’s senior diplomats, the Armenia MFA press service informed.

Sahakyan presented the steps being taken to strengthen Artsakh’s security and socioeconomic development.

The interlocutors reflected on the negotiation process for the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement, and discussed the collaboration between the Armenia and the NKR MFAs and Armenia’s embassies and Artsakh’s permanent representations abroad.

In addition, the NKR President responded to numerous questions posed by the participants of the meeting.

Before the meeting, however, Bako Sahakyan had a private talk with Edward Nalbandian.
