STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited the south-east borderline of the republic and inspected the current state of defense system.

President Sahakyan handed  over “For Courage” and  “For Service in Battle” medals to a group of army servicemen for repelling an infiltration towards military positions of the NKR Defense Army.

In his speech Bako Sahakyan underlined that everything would be done for further strengthening and securing the state’s borders.

The President was accompanied by National Assembly Speaker Ashot Ghoulyan, Vice Prime Minister Arthur Aghabekyan, Defense Minister Movses Hakobyan and other officials.
