YEREVAN. – A joint business forum, between Armenian businessmen and a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry of the United Arab Emirates (ADCCI UAE) capital city, was convened Tuesday in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Armenia.
The businessmen and the heads of the region’s largest companies arrived in Armenia to attend the event.
In his remarks, CCI Chairman and MP Martin Sargsyan underscored this forum which, in his words, will become a beginning and a guarantee for business programs.
For their part, ADCCI Board of Directors Chairman Mohamed Thani Murshed Ghannam Al Rumaithi, Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy Tigran Harutyunyan, and Armenian Development Agency Director Robert Harutyunyan stressed the need to make use of Armenia’s Customs Union accession process as a new opportunity for the development of Armenian-Arab partnership.
The business forum also became a venue for roundtable discussions on the domains of mutual interest.
In addition, some of Armenia’s best businesses were introduced, and the Arab associates showed an interest toward their products.
Subsequently, Martin Sargsyan and Mohamed Thani Murshed Ghannam Al Rumaithi signed an agreement on cooperation.
