ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party Bureau condemns the becoming increasingly violent attacks on the Armenian-populated districts of Aleppo, Syria, the Bureau statement reads. 

“There is no more a doubt that exclusively the Armenian-populated neighborhoods are the target of the forces ‘opposing’ the Syrian authorities.

“There is evidence that especially Turkey encourages the escalating attacks on the Armenian-populated districts of Aleppo.

“We petition all countries that have an influence on these opposing forces to immediately use their leverage to stop the attacks on the Armenian-populated neighborhoods.

“We call upon the Syrian authorities to take necessary measures to ensure the physical safety of especially the unarmed Christian minorities.  

“We also call upon all Armenians to assist by all possible means the ARF initiatives to stop the anti-Armenian actions,” the ARF Dashnaktsutyun statement also runs, in particular.
