YEREVAN. – Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan on Friday received Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office.

The minister requested from the ambassador to take effective measures, within his capacity, to reduce the tension on the Line of Contact, since the ongoing escalation in the shaped operational environment is prone to entail unforeseen consequences for the Azerbaijani side, the Armenia MOD press service informed.

Kasprzyk, for his part, expressed his concerns and promised to take measures to de-escalate the current situation on the Line of Contact.
