President of Russia Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel spoke about Ukraine during an hour-long meeting in Deauville, France, RIA Novosti reported.
Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian leader, said they focused on Ukrainian affairs, finding solution to Ukrainian crisis.
The leaders met on the sidelines of the ceremonies marking the 70th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy.
