Turkish PM’s adviser Ibrahim Kalin spoke at the parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations, and presented information on the ongoing activities in the fight against the recognition of the Armenian Genocide, reported Hürriyet daily of Turkey.

Kalin noted that in several months they will start shooting a movie that denies the fact of the Armenian Genocide, and stressed that the name of the film will be “The Crack of My Heart.”

The opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) and the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) MPs, however, objected to name of the movie, and claimed that its title prompts some kind of a love, whereas it should have a more serious title.   

In turn, MHP MP Yusuf Halacoglu, who was former president of the Turkish Historical Society, noted that they should ask him to prepare the plot of the movie, and he will provide film scripts titled “Musa Dagh [Mount Musa]” and “Van Uprising,” and based on “real facts.”
