YEREVAN. – On Tuesday evening, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will head for Austria on an official visit. 

Within the framework of the trip, Sargsyan is expected to hold a private conversation with his Austrian colleague Heinz Fischer. Subsequently, extended talks will be conducted with the participation of official delegations, and at the end of which documents will be signed on the deepening of Armenian-Austrian cooperation. The Armenian and Austrian presidents will sum up the results of the negotiations at a joint news conference.

While in Vienna, the Armenian President will have several other meetings, too. He also will visit the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he will attend the official opening of the Armenian-Austrian Economic Forum.

At the United Nations regional headquarters in Vienna, President Sargsyan will meet with several representatives of the organization.  

In addition, the President will be on hand at the official opening of the “Armenia” multifunctional center.

Also, Serzh Sargsyan will pay tribute to Austrian writer and humanist Franz Werfel by visiting his monument.  
At Saint Hripsimeh Armenian Apostolic Church in Vienna, the President will pay tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide and place flowers to the respective memorial at the churchyard.

Furthermore, President Serzh Sargsyan is scheduled to pay a visit to the Mekhitarist Armenian Monastic Order in Vienna.
