On Friday night, the state protection servicemen discovered an improvised explosive device nearby an entrance of the Ukrainian Presidential Palace.
The device consisted of several hand grenades and other auxiliary elements, the UNIAN news agency reported.
Even though the person placing the explosive was detected, he managed to escape, but without being able to set off the device.
The particulars of this incident are investigated.
