YEREVAN. – The level of Armenian delegates' reception in Baku was a move forward for the Azerbaijani side, MP from Heritage party Tevan Poghosyan said after participation in NATO PA seminar.
Azerbaijanis were trying to show their tolerant attitude and even let the Armenian delegates go out of the hotel, Poghosyan said, adding that it was not allowed during previous visits.
“They told us we could take a walk in the city. We agreed, but we did not manage to visit the places we wanted. Azerbaijanis were guiding us, noting that it is better to walk near the sea or go to a cafe. All the places that we visited were deserted. “Accidentally” it turned out that these were deserted parts of the city, or places were only kids were playing,” he said.
