A US Congressional delegation will arrive in Georgia on Sunday.

The American delegation will meet separately with President Giorgi Margvelashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, and several other members of the Georgian government, informs the US Embassy in Georgia.

The parties will discuss matters relating to the EU-Georgia Association Agreement and Georgia’s sovereignty.

In particular, it will be stressed that the US supports Georgia’s democratic development and territorial integrity, and also appreciates the country’s engagement in NATO missions.
