Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry is in no hurry to answer the query of Georgian colleagues in connection with detention of Georgian MPs at Baku airport, Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze told reporters.

“We have not received a reply to a note sent to the Azerbaijani side, as the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs will have to get the most relevant information from relevant agencies. This requires certain time. When we receive a response note, I will be able to provide relevant information,” Panjikidze said, Gruziya Online reported.

As reported earlier, Georgian MPs Irma Nadirashvili and Zurab Japaridze were detained and searched at the airport in Baku.
