June 9, the RA Premier Tigran Sargsyan participated in the opening of the third annual DigiTec Business-2010 forum.

The Premier stressed its importance for IT development in Armenian, the RA Government’s press service informed NEWS.am. “The IT sector is dynamically developing, and, from year to year, our citizens feel a higher quality and availability of the services, as well as lower prices,” the Premier said.  He also pointed out that the wide range of issues raised by IT specialists is the focus of the RA Government’s attention, the RA Premier-headed Public Council regularly discusses them.

Tigran Sargsyan made a round of the pavilions and familiarized himself with goods and services offered by local and foreign companies.

The number of forum participants reached 35 this year. USAID Armenia Mission Director Jatinder Cheema also participated in the opening ceremony.
