YEREVAN. – The problems in connection with Armenia's joining Eurasian Economic Union can be solved, head of Caucasus Institute Alexander Iskandaryan said during a press conference on Tuesday. These problems are of technical and political character, he believes.

Over six months Armenia had to pass the way that Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia passed for one and a half decade Iskandaryan said.

Thus, certain documents are necessary for joining the Union, analyst explained, adding that many provisions need to be agreed with all member states.

However, Iskandaryan is convinced that the main obstacle for Armenia's accession is internal conflict between Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia. It is obvious that Yerevan is one of the subjects to controversy. 

Nevertheless, the expert believes differences can be settled, and this requires time, this is the reason that Armenia will not join the Union in coming days or weeks.

Last week Kazakhstan Foreign Minister said the agreement on Armenia's accession may be signed in October.
