YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia received an emergency call on Thursday at 2:32am.
Accordingly, a road accident had occurred on the Tsovagyugh-Dilijan motorway, people were stuck, there was a gas leak, and rescuers were needed.
A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene, the MES Rescue Service informed.
It was found out that a Mercedes had gone off road for yet unknown reasons on the Sevan-Dilijan Highway, and fallen into a canyon from the Dzgnaget Bridge.
The firemen and rescue workers removed K. Sh., 31, and K. V., 49, from the vehicle, and they were taken to the Sevan city medical center.
According to the physicians, the injured are in very critical condition.
