On June 9 NKR President Bako Sahakyan received a group of deputies of the French National Assembly, NKR Presidential press service informed NEWS.am.

A wide range of issues related to bilateral ties, the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement and domestic life of Artsakh were discussed during the meeting.

NKR President underlined that widening cooperation with France was among the pivotal directions of the republic's foreign policy.

The President rated high the role of France in the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement and preserving stability in the region.

The necessity of widening cooperation and importance of parliamentary diplomacy were mutually stressed.
Chairman of the NKR National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan and other officials took part in the meeting.
