Armenia is attentively following the developments on Iran’s nuke program and considers that all disputable issues should be solved through diplomatic talks, Spokesman for RA Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan told journalists on Wednesday, commenting on the UN Security Council’snew sanctions against Iran.

“We hope agreed solutions will be found due to future efforts by Iran and world community,” Balayan said.

Earlier, with 12 to 2 (Brazil and Turkey), and 1 abstention (Lebanon) the UN Security Council approved the sanctions against Iran. It is the forth resolution within recent 4 years and stipulates stricter measures against Iran. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called new measures “a used hanky which should be thrown in the dustbin.”
