YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 406.56/$1 in Armenia on Thursday, and this is an unchanged rate from Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 547.92 (up by AMD 0.53), that of one British pound was AMD 691.72 (down by AMD 1.30), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.61 (down by AMD 0.07), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 273.58, AMD 17,097.14, and AMD 19,423.81, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 3,800,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 406.5/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 406.51/$1.
