On June 11, RA President Serzh Sargsyan received Finnish Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb.
The Armenian leader stressed cooperation with Finland is important for Armenia. The country appreciates Finland’s active in dealing with problems in the South Caucasus after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the RA President said. Due to its constructive and unbiased position, Finland gained confidence and is a desired partner for Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan said.
The Finnish FM said his country is ready to develop ties with Armenia. According to him, Finland is keenly interested in the recent regional developments. Minister Stubb asked President Sargsyan about Armenia’s stance on the matter.
The sides were unanimous that a dialogue between the regional countries is the best way of resolving problems and establishing good neighborly relations as well as the best guarantee to ensure durable peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
