The funeral of 20-year-old Azat Asoyan was attended by commanders, representatives of political forces and Defense Ministry along with relatives, friends and other servicemen.

Earlier Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and PM Hovik Abrahamyan visited the house of Asoyan. By presidential decree, Asoyan was awarded medal posthumously.

Azat Asoyan and Ararat Khanoyan were killed during Azerbaijani sabotage on July 31.
