French MP, head of Armenia-France friendship group François Rochebloine believes Azerbaijan is playing a double game.

One the one hand Azerbaijan is presiding over the Council of Europe and is seeking every opportunity to find ways for investments, Rochebloine told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In an attempt to create lobby, Azerbaijan is trying to seek opportunities for investments, for example in football clubs.

“On the other hand, Baku does not want peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict. They do not want to see Nagorno-Karabakh as a party to talks. This is the reason for Azerbaijan's provocations,” he said.

At the same time, Azerbaijan wants to create a good image in Europe, and is swaying to and fro, instead of solving internal problems, he added.
