OSCE Minsk Group is taking considerable efforts for the parties to Karabakh conflict to adopt a document containing political principles of the settlement, Russian FM Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with ITAR-TASS.

“The developments at the so-called line of contact are alarming. The parties are accusing each other or provocations. It happened in the past, too, and unfortunately there are periodic outbreaks of this kind, but this time everything seems to be particularly acutely perceived and presented,” Lavrov said.

The conflict is emotionally perceived by the parties, and Russia as a co-chairing state of the Minsk Group takes considerable efforts, together with American and French partners, to help the parties to settle the several issues that prevent conclusion of a document containing political principles of the settlement so that the parties could form a package acceptable to them.
