Armenia was the second in the first round of the 2014 World Tank Biathlon individual race, the first tank biathlon championship held in Russia.

The Russian team has won the first round with 26 minutes and 39 seconds, while Armenia was the second with 28 minutes and 58 seconds, RIA Novosti reported.

Only the Russian, Armenian and Chinese teams finished the round complying with all the rules and without serving penalty time, chief referee Yury Petrov said.

The championship brought together participants from 12 countries, including from Russia, Angola, Armenia, Belarus, Venezuela, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan.
