YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 409. 49 /$1 in Armenia on Wednesday, going up by AMD1.06 point as compared with Tuesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 547.00 (up by AMD 0.03), that of one British pound was AMD 689.46 (up by AMD 0.36), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.31 (down by AMD 0.10), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 265.94 , AMD 16,914.26 , and AMD 19,142.5 respectively.

No foreign currency transactions were registered at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Wednesday.
