STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan signed a decree hand over state awards.

According to the decree, for an organized repelling of the subversive-reconnaissance activities undertaken by the enemy from 26 July to 2 August 2014, high combat readiness and personal bravery and courage a group of the NKR Defense Army servicemen were awarded the following state awards: one servicemen was awarded the Battle Cross Order of the second degree, 11 servicemen were awarded For Courage medal and 15 other For Service in Battle medal.

According to another presidential decree, for the active participation in neutralization of the adversary's subversive-reconnoitering group in the NKR Shaumyan region two servicemen of the NKR National Security Service were awarded For Service in Battle medal.
