YEREVAN. – Azerbaijani continued to violate ceasefire in different directions of Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

According to the data provided by Armenian Defense Ministry, ceasefire was violated 20 times along the state border on August 8-9. Over 1,400 shots were fired from different types of weapons.

The Armenian side opened retaliatory fire 11 times, the statement says. The Armenian side did not suffer losses.

The Armenian Armed Forces continue to maintain control of the border and turn to action only in case of targeted violations by the adversary.
