YEREVAN. – The death of Karen Petrosyan, a resident of Armenia’s Tavush Region who was in Azerbaijani captivity, is on the conscience of the Azerbaijanis, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan noted on the air of Armnews television.
He also informed that during Sunday’s meeting in Sochi, Russia, between the presidents of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan, he had given shame to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in connection with Petrosyan’s death.
Separately, Sargsyan advised the residents of the border settlements to show restraint.
Karen Petrosyan, 32, was captured by the Azerbaijanis on August 7, and on the next day, Azerbaijan informed that the young Armenian man had “suddenly” died of an “acute heart failure.”
