YEREVAN. – Azerbaijani saboteurs Shahbaz Guliyev and Dilham Askerov, who are detained in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic capital city Stepanakert, have sent letters to their relatives through the Karabakh delegation of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC).

ICRC Yerevan Office Communications Officer Zara Amatuni told the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

She noted that the ICRC delegation representatives had visited Guliyev and Askerov on Monday evening.

“The Azerbaijani citizens handed their letters to the ICRC representative, who will pass it on to his colleagues in [the Azerbaijani capital city] Baku,” Amatuni added.

An Azerbaijani sabotage and reconnaissance team was rendered ineffective in Karvachar Region of NKR. Two members of the team, Shahbaz Guliyev and Dilham Askerov, were taken under custody and several criminal charges have been brought against them. The third member of the team was killed during the exchange of crossfire.
