YEREVAN. – While covering the events unrolling in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, the Georgian media were primarily citing the information disseminated by the Azerbaijani media.

Georgian Studies specialist Alik Eroyants stated the aforementioned at a press conference on Saturday.

“Stemming from their interests, the Georgian media captured audience and raised their ratings,” Eroyants noted.

He added that, some time thereafter, the Georgian media started citing the Armenian media, too. In this context, the Armenian analyst stressed the need for disseminating the Armenian media information in several other languages.

Alik Eroyants also expressed a view that the former cordiality is no longer observed in Georgian-Azerbaijani relations.

“In the last two years, there are negative aspects in Georgian-Azerbaijani relations,” noted the Georgian Studies specialist recalling the serious boundary issues, and the problems of Georgians living in Azerbaijan.
