First Minister of Scotland Alex Salmond slammed Australian PM for his calls to stay a part of UK.
During his visit to London, Tony Abbott told the Times “it's hard to see how the world would be helped by an independent Scotland”.
Alex Salmond said independence has not done Australia any harm and called Abbot's statement “ bewildering, hypocritical and foolish”, Daily Mail reported.
Referendum for Scotland's independence is planned for September 18.
