YEREVAN. – A VAZ 21083-model vehicle and a BMW had crashed at an intersection in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan, on July 1 at 12:05am.

As a result of the collision, VAZ 21083’s driver Arayik Khachatryan (born in 1980) had died on the spot, whereas four passengers were hospitalized with injuries.

An official statement has been received from the Road Police Investigation Department, on Sunday at 6pm, according to which N. Poghosyan, who was hospitalized as a result of the aforesaid road accident, had died at 4:40pm, and without regaining consciousness.

The investigation into the incident is still in progress.
