YEREVAN. – The Eurasian integration will not have an impact on the educational process of Armenia, Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan noted at a press conference on Monday.

Specifically, as per Ashotyan, the Bologna Process reforms will remain unchanged in the country.

According to the minister, there is no separate educational space and none is envisioned in the Eurasian Union, and its member countries (Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus) and Armenia move forward along the road of the Bologna Process reforms.

“Both Kazakhstan and Russia are Bologna Process countries, and that’s why there is much in common in our future plans,” the minister stated.

So, according to Ashotyan, any possible joint educational program within the Eurasian Union will not hamper the European educational programs, in which Armenia already participates.

“Our strategic goals are the same: increasing the mobility in education and the job market,” the minister added.
