Today the RA Government allocated 20m AMD to the Minas Avetisyan cultural charitable fund to transport two frescos by Minas from Gyumri to Yerevan. The frescos – “Meeting in 1915” and “Near khachkar” – have to be transported to Government Building #1 with the assistance of Italian specialists.

RA Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan said some 12 frescos by Minas have been preserved in a dangerous structure in the city of Gyumri. The RA Premier Tigran Sargsyan ordered the minister to sell the frescos to private enterprises by auction.
