Armenia is 85th from among 144 countries, in the The Global Competitiveness Report 2014-2015, registering a 6-point decline as compared with the last report.

Switzerland continues to top the list, and the top five also includes Singapore, U.S., Finland and Germany.

Armenia's neighbors have better positions with Georgia ranked 69th, Azerbaijan 38th, Turkey 45th and Iran 83th.

The Global Competitiveness Report is published by the World Economic Forum, and assesses the competitiveness landscape of 144 economies, providing insight into the drivers of their productivity and prosperity.
