YEREVAN. – Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Edward Nalbandian, on Wednesday received a delegation led by Eduardo Antonio Zuain, Secretary of Foreign Relations of the Republic of Argentina.
The Argentine delegation is in Armenia to hold consultations between the two MFAs.
Nalbandian stressed that the Armenian President’s recent official visit to Argentina gave new impetus to bilateral cooperation, and expressed confidence that the agreements that were reached will be implemented.
Zuain, for his part, stressed that Argentina wants to deepen cooperation with Armenia and, in this context, he underscored the regular high-level mutual visits.
In turn, Minister Nalbandian highlighted that the existence of an organized Armenian community in Argentina greatly contributes to the development of Armenia-Argentina friendly relations.
Subsequently, the interlocutors exchanged views on the avenues for further developing Armenian-Argentinean ties, and reflected on regional and international matters.
Following the talk, director Vahe Gabrielyan of the Diplomatic School of Armenia, and director Juan Valle Raleigh of National Foreign Service Institute of Argentina signed a cooperation agreement between the two educational institutions.
