Gagik Tsarukyan stands ready to serve as liaison between the Armenian and the Chinese businessmen.

Non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan stated the above-said during his talk Thursday in Beijing with Zhou Li, the person in charge of the International Division of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

The senior Chinese official, for his part, noted that PAP has managed to play a very important role in Armenia’s politics.

In turn, Tsarukyan stated that one of his primary objectives for visiting China is his desire to bring the political and economic ties between Armenia and China to a qualitatively new level.

In the afternoon, the delegation led by the PAP leader was received by Zhao Letszi, Head of Organizational Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

Letszi noted that the Chinese people have a good friend and reliable partner, in the person of Gagik Tsarukyan, who has greatly contributed to the strengthening and development of Armenian-Chinese relations.

Tsarukyan, for his part, stressed that a wide field of political cooperation exists between the two countries, and it is time to invigorate the expansion of bilateral economic relations.
