On June 15-16, a delegation of the League of Arab States headed by the Director of the Europe and Arab Cooperation Department, Arab League, Envoy of the Arab League Secretary-General Amb Faris Abdul Karim, was on a working visit to Armenia.

The delegation held meetings with Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Armen Rustamyan and RA Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakosyan, the RA Foreign Office press service informed NEWS.am.

The Armenian side stated the expansion of ties with the Arab League is one of Armenia’s foreign policy priorities. This accounts for the opening of Armenian diplomatic missions in Arab states.

The sides agreed to intensify the cooperation within international agencies through regular contacts.
